Apart from individual bookings, we also organise group bookings, including school visits, into homestays in Oxford, both with and without English language classes
No two requests are the same so it impossible to provide full details here - groups vary according to age of students, length of stay, language ability, balance between edcuation and tourism and so on.
The normal stay is from weekend to weekend but other arrangements can be made especially out of the main summer season.
A ‘typical’ stay might be arrival on Saturday/Sunday with transfer to homestays. Then classes every morning during the week with a social programme in the afternoons. This might include visits to colleges, museums, punting on the river and so on. We don’t normally organise activities in the evenings but there are many fun activites available, for example, ice skating.
Normally the quotation is broken down into three parts:
(i) the costs of the accommodation in local family home stays (including a certain number of free teacher places),
(ii) the costs of the tuition (normally morning classes in a local college,
(iii) the costs of the social programme (normally weekday afternoons but also the weekend days if required).
If you are considering bringing a group to UK then contact us with information of your proposed group (size, gender, English language ability, whether more than one student can be accommodated in each homestay etc) and details of your proposed stay in Oxford (dates, programme requirements - both teaching and social as well as any speicial requests/requirements). This should be done as early as possible in your planning.
