Bonjour.
Je m'appelle Marvin, un garçon français de 15 ans. j'ai été très heureux de passer 2 semaines en compagnie d'Helen et William. C'est une famille très chaleureuse et hospitalière. La maison a plusieurs très jolies et confortables chambres. j'ai passé de très bons moment à parler, jouer au tennis de table, et bien d'autres choses encore... Les repas servis sont excellents. La maison est située dans un endroit verdoyant à 10 minutes du centre ville en bus.
J'ai eu beaucoup de mal à quitter cette famille si accueillante et sympathique et j'espère pouvoir y retourner dès la prochaine occasion.

Hello.
I’m called Marvin and I am a French boy aged 15 years. I was very happy to spend 2 weeks in the company of Helen and William; it is a very cordial and hospital family. The house has several very pretty and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed my stay talking to them, playing table tennis and other things … The meals we ate were excellent. The house is located in a green area about 10 minutes from the centre of town by bus.
I felt bad leaving such a warm and welcoming family and I hope I will be able to return there sometime in the future.

Ich verbrachte im Juli zwei Wochen im Haus von Helen und William. Zudem hatte ich fünf Tage die Woche Unterricht bei William. Die Athmosphäre in diesem schönen Haus in ruhiger - aber dennoch zentraler - Lage, war immer sehr freundlich und ich habe mich immer willkommen gefühlt.
Ich kann jedem empfehlen, bei Helen und William zu wohnen und sein Englisch zu verbessern - sei es beim Unterricht, beim gemeinsamen Mittag- und Abendessen oder bei Ausflügen.

I spent two weeks at Helen and William’s house in July. As well as staying there, I had English lessons with William. I found the atmosphere in their beautiful house very tranquil even though it was in a very central location. Helen and William were always very friendly and I always felt welcome. I am happy to recommend to everyone to live at their place and improve their English – whether it is with actual lessons or during conversation during dinner or on visits and trips.

Hallo, ik ben Eva (17) uit Amsterdam en ik ben in juli twee weken bij Helen en William in huis geweest. Ik heb het er heel erg naar mijn zin gehad, ik had een prachtige kamer en het eten was heel goed, vooral de heerlijke toetjes vergeet ik nooit! Helen en William waren erg behulpzaam met het vinden van mijn weg in Oxford, ze gingen de eerste keer mee en hielpen met dingen als bijvoorbeeld het busabonnement. Ik werd door William ook van de luchthaven uit London opgehaald en ook weer weggebracht.
Ik heb dus een heel fijne tijd gehad in Homestay en zou het andere mensen zeker aanraden!

Hello, I am Eva (17) from Amsterdam and I recently spent two weeks with Helen and William at their home stay. I really enjoyed my stay, had a lovely room and really enjoyed the meals - especially the delicious desserts!
Helen and William were very helpful in getting me to adjust to Oxford, for example, assisting me with such things as buying the special season ticket for the bus. William collected me from the airport and took me back at the end of my stay. I had a really nice time staying at Homestay Oxford and would happily recommend it to others!

I am Sonya from China. I spent a week at William and Helen's house. They are really friendly and helpful. I liked the beautiful house decoration, tasty meals William cooked. The nice couple took me to a great show in the city centre which I still remember vividly. I had a great time at Oxford Homestay. If I need to find a homestay again, I will definitely go there.

Siamo una mamma e una figlia di 11 anni e durante la settimana di Pasqua 2009 abbiamo seguito un corso residenziale presso William e Helen - due ore ciascuna, di mattina. Ci siamo trovate estremamente bene: la casa è comoda e spaziosa, ben ubicata e con buoni collegamenti con Oxford centro, le lezioni di ottimo livello (William è riuscito benissimo ad adattarsi alle nostre diverse esigenze offrendo a Elena lezioni di lingua e a me inglese per scopi professionali) e gli anfitrioni sono molto accoglienti e simpatici. Siamo ancora in contatto con loro e penso che ripeteremo l'esperienza!

We are a mother and a 11-year-old girl who attended a residential course at William and Helen's place during Easter 2009 - two hours each in the morning. We liked it immensely: the house wass confortable and spacious, well situated and connected to central Oxford. The tuition was excellent (William easily managed to meet our different requirements giving language lessons to Elena and English for professionals lessons to me). The hosts were very warm and nice. We still stay in contact and I think that we'll repeat the experience sometime in the future

Mit meiner 9. Jährigen Tochter (Nina) verbrauchten wir im August 09 zwei Wochen bei William und seiner wunderbaren Frau, Helen in Homestay Oxford.
Unserer Zimmer war groß, geräumig und sehr sauber. William ist sehr freundlich und kann fantastisch kochen. Seine " Dinners" waren Highlight des Tages. Helen ist sehr sympathisch und mit ihrer ruhigen Art verbreitet sie eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre im Haus.
Meine Tochter dürfte abends ihre frisch gelernten English-Kenntnisse sofort am Esstisch im freundlichen Gespräch mit Helen und William anwenden. Der schnelle Internetzugang im Zimmer war für uns sehr Hilfreich. Wir könnten unsere E-Mails lesen und per Skype mit Deutschland telefonieren.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Oxford mit Helen und William sehr genossen.

I recently stayed with my 9 year old daughter, Nina, at Homestay Oxford, run by William and his marvellous wife Helen.
Our room was large, roomy and very clean. We found William very friendly and he cooked ‘fantastisch’ – his dinners were the highlight of the day. Helen was very pleasant and her calm kindness created a very pleasant atmosphere in the house. Nina was able to practise her newly learned English (she went to classes every morning) in a friendly discussion with Helen and William during the evening meal. The fast internet access in the room was very helpful to us as we could read our emails and telephone to Germany using Skype. We really enjoyed our stay with Helen and William in Oxford.

Bonjour, Je m'appelle Céline, j'ai 16 ans et je suis allée passé 2 semaines en Août chez Helen et William à Oxford. Iles sont des personnes adorables qui m'ont très bien accueillie. Nous avons passé de très bonnes soirées à discuter ce qui m'a aidé à améliorer mon anglais.
Le logement est très agréable et bien situé à Oxford avec des bus toutes les 10 minutes à proximité. En conclusion, si vous passez un séjour chez Helen et William, vous serez certains de passer un super séjour.

Hello, I’m Céline, a 16 year old French girl, and I spent 2 weeks in August at Homestay Oxford with William and Helen. They are friendly people who looked after me very well. We spent pleasant evenings talking together which helped me improve my English.
The accommodation is very pleasant and the house has a good central location in Oxford with nearby buses running every 10 minutes to the city centre. I can say that if you stay with Helen and William you will have a really pleasant time.

William et Helen m'ont accueillie dans une maison très agréable et bien située; la rue est calme, on peut prendre très facilement le bus pour aller dans le centre de Oxford, mais aussi les bus pour aller à Londres. Contrairement à tout ce qui se dit à propos de la nourriture anglaise, la cuisine de William et délicieuse (surtout la fameuse custard). L'accueil est chaleureux, mes hôtes m'ont bien renseignée sur les lieux où aller et les moyens de transport. En bref, c'est LE lieu où aller pour être à Oxford !

William and Helen accommodated me in their very pleasant and well located house; the street is peaceful and you can very easily take the bus to travel to the centre of Oxford. It is also easy to take buses to visit London.
Contrary to all that is said about English food, William’s cooking is delicious (especially famous the custard). My welcome was friendly, my hosts informing me well about where to meet and the transport system. In short, their homestay is THE place to stay when you visit Oxford!

My name is Anishka and I am 15 year old girl from Thailand. I stayed with William and Helen for 2 weeks in Oxford during my school break. Both of them are very nice people and gave me a very warm welcome. They were easy to talk to and I felt comfortable talking to them. The house was nice and my room was a pleasure. The internet was available using wireless.
The house is in a good location, close to the bus stop that takes you to Oxford city centre. The family explained everything before hand, so it made things a lot easier. At dinner we would talk and I got to learn some new things - about Oxford, England and a lot more. The dinner and dessert were delicious. I had a homelike and very comfy stay. I guarantee that you will not regret choosing to stay with this family. I, myself, was very happy with my stay and would definitely like to go back when I get the chance to.
